June 28 Stuck in the middle of nowhere (2)I made it to Dallas...
One thing I am asking myself is why would two old people choose window seats when they know they will want to get up to pee?
Anyway... With more of the adventure the airport is full of foldable beds, (Coleman if anyone asks), apparently a lot of people have had to spend the night. The first thing I did when I got out of the plane was check the screens and indeed my previous flight showed CANCELED in red letters. I looked up and there was no other flight going to the tini-winy town of Laredo (I'm sorry but it's true, it's a town :P), I hope there won't be that much croud and these suckers didn't overbook it (I'm just checking how things can go a little more wrong).
Oh, yeah, looking at the clouds in the sky I was thinking that if conditions are bad in the road we won't be able to drive speed limit and that would also drag us behind a little more, if that is the case I won't hesitate to call the hotel and try to get as much of my money back... Sucks, for trying to be prepared I might end up paying more.
I'm going to take advantage of the beds and sleep now.... The road ahead is not moving.
Stuck on the middle of nowhereI'm actually in Sacramento, CA... Where I really don't need to be. There's flooding in Texas and flights have been cancelled, my flight is still going to Dallas but my flight from Dallas to Laredo is cancelled, I was put in a flight later that backdraws my roadtrip for 5 hours.. It sucks! We won't make it to the first hotel and we already have reservations... Two things can happen:
a) We drive and make up for those 5 hours. b) We cancel the reservation and go as far as we can.
It will be decided on the way... As always starting with the wrong foot; It just adds a little more adventure. No one knows what is next. May 01 Random Thought...Ok, this is gonna be one of my most random thoughts ever...
Let's start with the purpose of life... What is it? I don't know, and pretty much I didn't care until recently...
Have you ever seen yourselft described as a concept? What is being described as a concept? Well, this is my experience: One day, my most infamous friend told me what I was, before that moment in life a lot of my actions were subconciously following my personality, but after that suddently they all made sense, I knew why I did them and how my personality actually pushed them to happen; the feeling went further, after that my acting was transparent, I could see, before doing something, why I wanted to act in such a way, it started turning annoying cause I could predict myself (does anyone hate being predictable? I do), so I complained that I liked my life before (being unpredictable)... *Is it a good thing or a bad thing* that you can predict your acts? Well, I'm just learning now that it is a good thing, I can act before acting, I can beat my subconcious and take concious actions... I can change my personality and I can change my purpose in life... Can't I? June 01 Aguacate...No mames!
Aqui estan algunas fotos, mientras el dude ve "libros" yo estoy "Working from the ariport". |
